Credit card insurance

If you’re unable to work then credit card debt can become a serious issue. CreditCard Plus helps repay your Commonwealth Bank credit card debt if you become disabled, involuntarily unemployed, or in the event of your death.

The following benefits are provided:

• Death or total and permanent disablement benefit - covers the outstanding balance of the credit card account up to $15,000.
• Total temporary disablement benefit - covers your minimum monthly credit card repayments for up to 180 days.
• Involuntary unemployment benefit - covers your minimum monthly credit card repayments for up to 90 days.

To apply, please visit any Commonwealth Bank branch or print the CreditCard Plus PDS and complete the application form.

CreditCard Plus is available to primary account holders between the ages of 18 and 64. No medical examination is required.
